I forgot to mention that I am inspired by how you connect who you are through your woodworking. Your work is beautiful and truly helpful. This is how I bring my being through creativity and art. It's not just about the art. It's about art being a vehicle to serve others and help uplift the world.
Wow! I see/feel my journey reflected here. When I started my recovery "career", I had no idea who I really was. At a young age I had some sense of who I was, but that soon became deeply buried for a long long time. As a result, who I became and thought I was was based on conditioning and beliefs that were not mine. It's been a journey of discovery, undoing, and remembering! I am not the things that happened to me, although through these experiences I have been able to learn a great deal about myself. I am not the roles I have in the world, although who I am at the core/essence of my being shines through them. I sense your genuine empathy, compassion, and desire to be of service and the essence of who you are. Thank you.
Thank you so much for sharing this! I'm so glad you connected with it. Ah, yes! "who I am at the core/essence of my being shines through them." Love this. Well said! It warms my heart to read this!

Thank you, Sunshine! Ooh, yes. Truly, not just about the art, but it being a vehicle. Love this! Thank you for appreciating my woodworking!
